My name is Carla. I was born and raised in Canada. I am an educator, keynote speaker and humanitarian.
For the past 20 years, I have traveled and worked around the globe. Partnering with people and communities to use leadership to build a great life. After years of working in high schools as a teacher and seeing so many students challenged with clarity, confidence and motivation, I knew I needed to make teaching leadership my priority. I took the lessons from the great leaders around the world and made them simple and practical for youth. I have seen incredible change.
I am now the proud co-founder and executive director of YoungLeaders.World, a global non-profit that helps youth understand these important leadership lessons and how to apply them at a critical points in their lives. I have trained over 11,000 young people from 20 different countries and have spoken to tens of thousands more.
I love to travel, eat great food, spend time with friends and be active. The only thing I love more than the life I have created, is helping other people do the same.
Thanks for visiting my site.
